The Canada Day Parade is on July 1
Don’t go anywhere except downtown on July 1 and take in the festivities. Lots of brightly-coloured floats from your community groups will be there to parade for you and don’t forget the special surprise!
- Mustering station is at Ruth Inch Pool area
- Show up times: floats and large groups 9:30 am, smaller groups (less than 10 people) 10:00 am
- There are lots of links on the web about how to build a float – see also the link on this website.
- The theme this year is “My Canada ????” – in other words, what does Canada mean to you???
- Parade starts at 11:00
Welcome to the 2010 Rotary Parade!
Well here we are, that time of year again … the parade is upon us! As always, your Yellwoknife Rotary Club will be organizing the parade and making sure everyone has a fun time.
See the tabs on this webpage for information on how to register and some tips on building a float. We also have some photos of past parades (those funny-dressed people are more likely than not to be your own Rotarians, getting into the spirit of things!)
If you want to get an e-mail on any postings on this website, click the button on the side to subscribe.
